Blockchain to Improve the World

Blockchain@UBC is a multidisciplinary research cluster focusing on blockchain technology as a central component in investigating the broader research question “How can emerging technologies be leveraged to benefit Canadians and the world?” 

We are at the forefront of leveraging blockchain technology to create meaningful change for Canadians and the world. Our pioneering research brings together academic leaders, industry innovators, community partners, and policymakers to address urgent global challenges and explore new possibilities for blockchain. Our teaching initiatives span undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels to advance the knowledge and qualifications of students and professionals.
