Why You Can’t Ignore Blockchain – Free Online Information Sessions
Blockchain is an emerging technology that’s becoming critical for organizational innovation. In a Deloitte 2020 Global Blockchain Survey, 55% of leaders said that blockchain is a top-five strategic priority.
It can be difficult, however, to cut through the hype around blockchain, understand why blockchain is relevant, and what’s needed to adopt and implement blockchain solutions.
In these two information sessions, we shed light on the opportunities – and challenges – blockchain presents, and why you can’t ignore this technology. As you’ll see, many of the skills needed to capitalize on blockchain technology are not strictly technical, but rather a holistic understanding of the technology, how it can drive business value, and how to prepare for successful blockchain implementations.
Session 1: Why Blockchain Matters, and Who Should Pay Attention
In this first of two sessions, blockchain experts Tejinder Basi, founder and CEO of Cyberium Consulting and Solutions Group, and Michael Cholod, CEO of Peer Social and Manyone, discuss why blockchain is important, what organizations need to understand about this technology, and who should be being attentive.

Session 2: What I Wish I had Known Before Venturing Into Blockchain
In this second information session, two blockchain professionals who have worked as founders and product managers in successful blockchain ventures describe their blockchain journey, the lessons they learned along the way, and what they wish they knew before they ventured into blockchain.
