August 20, 2020

our graduate training pathway was mentioned in ICTC's recent report on investment in Canada’s blockchain ecosystem.

The Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) published a new study, Chain Reaction: Investment in Canada’s Blockchain Ecosystem, that examines opportunities for blockchain-focused foreign direct investment (FDI). The study compares Canada’s blockchain ecosystem to other key global centres of blockchain activity and also presents the perspectives from industry experts on the value of blockchain across specific sectors.

The report highlights the significance of talent in establishing Canada's competitive position in blockchain technology and acknowledges that Canada's greatest strength is the pool of skilled talent and strong academic and research institutions. It acknowledges our graduate pathway as one of the programs producing skilled employees in the field while also meeting the ecosystem's demand for multidisciplinary talent.
