Negar Yassaie received her B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, specialized in the field of Control Systems, from the Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. She conducted research on resilient control strategies which can be applied to cyber-physical systems with the aim of detecting faults and adversarial attacks that may harm the system for her dissertation project. She is furthering her studies now to pursue a Master’s degree under the supervision of Professor Ahmad Al-Dabbagh at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus. The main focus of her MASc thesis will be on Networked Control Systems. Her research interests include, but are not limited to Networked Control Systems, Blockchain Technology, Control Theory, Cyber-Physical Systems, and Automation. She is eager to work on applications of blockchain in networked control systems.
