Shuxiao Miao

Masters of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Master Student

Shuxiao Miao is a M.A.Sc. student at the University of British Columbia School of Engineering. He is jointly supervised by Dr. Cyril Leung and Dr. Zehua Wang. He received his B.Sc. Honors degree in Computer Science from the University of Alberta in 2017. His research interests lie in the Distributed System, Consensus Protocol, Game Theory and Blockchain-based Federated Learning. Alongside research, he is a Full Stack Developer who has strong experience in DApp and web development.
Before he joined UBC@Blockchain, he had worked in the industry for over 4 years.
