Summer Institute 2023 Fee Structure

UBC students

Free to take the summer institute for course credit.

If one wants to receive the micro-certificate, pay 350.

Exchange students from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts

Free to take the summer institute

Free to receive the UBC blockchain micro-certificate

Non-UBC students (e.g. from SFU, BCIT or Langara College)

Early registration (by May 15th) - $350

Regular registration (by June 30th) - $450

If one wants to receive the micro-certificate, pay another 350.

Non-students (working professionals)

Early registration (by May 15th) - $750

Regular registration (by June 30th) - $1000

If one wants to receive the micro-certificate, pay another 1,250 for those who register before May 15th, and 1,450 for those who register between May 15th and June 30th.
