The Journey Towards SSI

The building blocks of self-sovereign identity go back many years, and some would argue decades. However the past 4 years have seen significant progress and progress towards what is now becoming real, A review of what has been accomplished through the eyes of an advocate will discuss the approach, experiments and real world implementations, along with what the community has accomplished through much global collaboration with a focus on empowering individuals to have control through a citizen-centric approach to identity management.
