Bio
Dr. Özhan Sağlık is a Lecturer at Bursa Uludag University. He graduated from the Information and Records Management Department at Istanbul University. His PhD is about trustworthiness of digitally signed records. He is a researcher & advisor in the Landano Project. He continues his research as a visiting scholar at UBC Blockchain for the project called "Trustworthiness of Records Created in Blockchain". This project has been supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye. He was awarded Contribution to Archival Science in 2022 by the Turkish Archivists Association.
Abstract
Every day we witness the progress of technology innovations as a constant flow of “nudges” to all aspects of our society. As we try to cope with these challenges and opportunities, in a more or less successful way, we increasingly face new responsibilities. These go way beyond pure technical issues and involve all disciplines. The Digital Transition requires to rethink beyond traditional approaches what it means to design a desirable, trustworthy and sustainable digital society.
